Diana Woods

Diana L. Woods, age 72, of East Leroy, passed away on June 30, 2022 at Rose Arbor Place in Kalamazoo.  She was born on April 19, 1950 in Battle Creek, the daughter of George and Helen (Godde) Knowles.  Diana was a lifelong area resident and graduated in 1968 from Battle Creek Central High School.  She was formerly employed by Kmart, Orchard Park Grocery, Kresge, Target and Flexngate.  Diana was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She enjoyed bowling, painting, and hosting Home Interior parties.  Diana was united in marriage on May 4, 1974 to Jack Woods Jr.  She was preceded in death by her father; Jack Cash, mother; Helen Cash, sister; Carol Warren, and brother; Terry Knowles.  Surviving are her husband, Jack Woods Jr. of East Leroy, daughter; Dawn (Robert) Peevers of Fishers, IN., brother; David Knowles of Hillsdale, MI., sisters; Donna (Tom) Miller of Arkansas, Debbie (David) Juckett of Battle Creek, grandson; Trevor Peevers of Fishers, IN. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the Recitation of The Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fr. Christopher Ankley, Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Navigators.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
