James Staton

James Bryan Staton, age 58, of Battle Creek, MI., passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021.  He was born September 29, 1963 in Aberdeen, Maryland, the son of Selden and Mary (Chaput) Staton.  James “Jim” was a 1982 graduate of Springfield High School.  He is survived by his sisters; Nancy (Fred) Johnson, Kathi (Bob) Squires and Sheryl Staton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his infant twin brothers and his parents.  In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  James battled multiple sclerosis for 11 years.  Memorial donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
