Jeffery Brown

Jeffery L. Brown, 60, of Battle Creek, passed away August 12, 2020. Jeff, the son of Wayne and Reba (Yother) Brown was born on December 18, 1959 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Jeff graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield, Michigan, Jeff worked as a maintenance technician at Fairlane and Brookside Apartments for 31 years. Jeff enjoyed bowling, softball, darts, Nascar, Michigan football and hanging out with friends. He is survived by his daughter, Ashlee (Patrick) Bruining of Portage, MI; his parents, Wayne and Reba (Yother) Brown of Duncan, SC; his Brother, Mike (Beth) Brown of Spartanburg, SC. Jeff was preceded in death by his Brother Ron Brown of Spartanburg, SC and his grandparents. A committal service will be officiated by Pastor Jack Anderson at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Reese Cemetery, on the corner of Helmer & Dickman Rd in Springfield, MI 49037. Jeff's celebration of life will continue immediately following the service with a luncheon at Begg Park, 503 Military Ave. Springfield, MI 49037. All are welcome.
