Josephine Ambs

Died Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. Josephine was born on July 11, 1934, the daughter of Anton and Helen (Sulic) Pestun. She moved to Michigan from West Virginia in 1943 and was a graduate of Lakeview High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to Marvin Ambs who preceded her in death in 2014. Josephine loved to travel and made several trips to Europe and took many cruises. She loved to read until Macular Degeneration took that ability away from her. Surviving are sons, Tony and Mike Ambs; a daughter, Julie Giddens and a brother, Nick Pestun. She was preceded in death by her husband; her brothers, Tom Pestun and Harry Pestun. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. www.henryfuneralhome.org
