Marcia Moore

Marcia Kay Moore, 74, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek. She was born September 1, 1945 to Edward and Elsie Moore in Battle Creek, the youngest of six children.

After attending Battle Creek Public Schools, she graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1963.

Marcia began her career at Eaton Corporation in Marshall, MI in 1968. After her retirement in 1989, she pursued her Bachelor and Master degrees, which led to a new career as an Adjunct Professor at Spring Arbor College, Kalamazoo Community College and Kellogg Community College.

Marcia's passion for travel took her to many destinations around the world. She visited all 50 states, traveled to China, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Vienna, Italy, Switzerland, France and Romania. Her strong faith led her to her favorite trip to the Holy Land.

Marcia is survived by her sister Sandra Perkins, brother Ron (Kathy) Moore of Battle Creek, and sister in law Carol Moore of Marshall,  many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Banjo. She was loved and will truly be missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Geraldine (Geri) Wallace and Shelbi Smith, and brother Jack.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
