Ralph Lopshire

Ralph H. Lopshire, age 70, of Battle Creek, passed away on October 3, 2019 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.  He was born on December 26, 1948 in Battle Creek, the son of Robert and Veronica (Olesko) Lopshire.  Ralph graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1967, and was a lifelong area resident.  Ralph served in the United States Army.  He was formerly employed as a mechanic for Boshears Ford in Marshall.  Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing and had a special interest in drag racing.  Ralph was united in marriage on August 22, 1975 in Battle Creek to Patricia (Seivert) Lopshire, she survives.  Also surviving are his sons; Ryan (Veronica) Lopshire of Kalamazoo and Christopher (Malynda) Lopshire of Battle Creek, brothers; Ray (Diane) Lopshire and Ron (Susie) Lopshire, both of Battle Creek, grandchildren, Sydney and Parker Lopshire.  Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother; Robert Lopshire.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Following visitation, committal services with military honors will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Rev.
