Wanda Bonardi

Wanda M. Bonardi, age 85, of Battle Creek, passed away on November 2, 2019.  She was born on May 5, 1934 in Yale, Michigan, the daughter of Homer and Vonda (Hull) Manns.  Wanda was a graduate of Yale High School, and came to Battle Creek in the 1950’s.  She was united in marriage to Tiziano Bonardi on February 14, 1953.  Wanda formerly worked at Lakeview General Hospital and as a phlebotomist for Dr. Bertram Zhuetlin, retiring in 1999.  She enjoyed horses, lighthouses, hummingbirds, and especially her family including her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Wanda was an avid tennis player and played several times a week at Minges Creek Racquetball Club.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son; Gregory Bonardi and a brother; Gerald Manns.  Surviving are her husband, son; Timothy Bonardi of Buchannan, MI., daughter-in-law; Teresa Bonardi of Springboro, OH., grandchildren; Jordana (Chris) Conger, Olivia Bonardi, Jacqueline Bonardi, Tiziano Bonardi, Mario Bonardi, Camden (Maggie) Bonardi and six great grandchildren.  In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday,  November 12, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Rev. Dr. Robert Zuhl officiating, with inurnment to follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Cancer Society or Boys Town.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
