Alec Waltman

Died Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Alec was born on January 14, 1994, in Battle Creek. He is the son of Scott M. and Sharon Kay (Mowry) Waltman. He had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Lakeview High School in 2012, and then attended Kellogg Community College earning an associate‘s degree. On October 22, 2021, he was united in marriage to the former Kelsie A. Robbins who survives. Alec was employed at Denso Manufacturing first in a contractor position for 3 years and then as an Engineering Tech for 3 years. He enjoyed target shooting, drawing and video games. Surviving is his wife, Kelsie; parents, Scott and Sharon Waltman; father and mother-in-law, Todd and Susie (Ward) Robbins; a brother, Adam Waltman; sister and brother- in- laws, Jessie (Brent) Sinclair, Samantha (Jon) Timmer, Sierra (Austin) Gross and Caleb Robbins; nephews, Bennett, James, Zac, Elijah; a niece, Olivia; his grandparents and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard A. Waltman and grandmother, Maxine M. Mowry. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4:00p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
