Anna Arlene Armstrong

Anna Arleen Armstrong, age 88 of Battle Creek, died Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was born December 22, 1935, in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of William and Harmenia (Nuyen) VanHaaften. She is survived by four children: Sandra (David) Stafford, Bonnie (Ken) Hunter, Terri Robinson and Allan (Shannon) Armstrong; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; sister: Judy (John) Reed and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clayton Armstrong, brother Charles VanHaaften Sr., sister Lena Grant, son Russell Armstrong and great-granddaughter Eliza Hector.  Anna was a past member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed all crafts, camping, traveling, and playing Bingo. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Bedford Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Susan G.
