On December 1, 2020, Barbara E. Voshell-Beeman-Little, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at the age 92 in Battle Creek. Barbara was born May 12, 1928 in Burlington, Michigan to Cecil and Cathryn (Rice) Collyer. Barbara grew up on the family farm in Burlington, Michigan. After playing second base for her school’s baseball team and graduating as the salutatorian of her Union City High School class, Barbara moved to Battle Creek. She worked as an operator at AT&T, a desk clerk at the Hart Hotel, and a production worker at the Kellogg Company for 25 years. Barbara was very social and enjoyed traveling, dancing, reading, and gardening. She served as the Worthy Matron of the Bedford Order of the Eastern Star #471 and as the Grand Marshall of the Grand Chapter of the State of Michigan. Barbara loved life and lived it to the fullest.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Collyer; and three wonderful husbands, Chancy DeWayne Voshell, Charles Beeman and Robert Little. Barbara is survived by her two sons, Douglas (Diane) Voshell and Gary (Robin) Voshell; four grandchildren, Whitney, Adrianne, Andrew and Courtney; and six great-grandchildren, William, Bennett, Mia, Zoe, Trey and Miles. There will be a private interment at the Riverside Cemetery in Union City, Michigan. In lieu of donations please tell your family and friends that you love them and give them a hug when you can.
