Caroline Wass

Caroline E. Wass, Age 98, Of Battle Creek, Died Friday, April 24, 2015. Caroline was born on January 27, 1917, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Rudolph and Anna (Pollack) Cipcic. She had been a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Philip Catholic School. She was united in marriage to David S. Wass who preceded her in death in 1994. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Caroline was an avid gardener, housekeeper and loved being a mother. Surviving are her children, Robert L. Wass, Nancy A. Wass, David A. (Carol) Wass and Philip R. (Penny) Wass; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Partridge and Dorothy Vinski; a brother, Robert (Mary Jane) Cipcic; a sister-in-law, Bertie Cipcic. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
