Cheri Lynn Hammond

Cheri Lynn Hammond, age 73, of Orient, Ohio and formerly of Battle Creek, unexpectedly passed away Monday, November 13, 2023.

She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of the late Harlow and Nancy (Faga) Munn on November 12, 1950.

She worked as a licensed real estate agent in Michigan, Florida, and Georgia.  

Cheri’s main interest was centered on raising her family. She is survived by son Christopher (Annette) Miller of Pembroke, Georgia, daughter Allison (John) McCarty of Orient, Ohio, son Alex Hammond of Tampa, Florida, and daughter Avery (Zach) Boysen of Sugar Land, Texas.

Also surviving are halfsisters Mindy (Rex) Drogus and Kellay (Bill) Evans of  Battle Creek, Nanci “Bunny” Cobb of Hanahan, South Carolina and Carla Herwarth of South Bend, Indiana.

 Visitation and service to be held at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home in Battle Creek Sunday, November  19, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM. Cremation is taking place and Cheri will be laid to rest beside her mother in Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek.
