Christina Wells

Christina Ann (Kreger) Munoz Wells passed away at Ascension Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, on June 15, 2021. Chris was born on November 24, 1948, to Aloysious and Lottie (Galarda) Kreger. Chris attended St. Philip Schools for 12 years, graduating in 1966. She worked at State Farm Insurance and the Battle Creek Federal Center until her retirement. She married John Richard “Dick” Munoz in September of 1973, and they were later divorced. Years later she married Ronald Wells. He preceded her in death in 1994. Christina was preceded in death by her parents, her younger brother, Stanley Michael Kreger, and her grandson, Dominic Munoz. She is survived by her sons, Matthew (Tina Collins) Munoz and Michael Munoz. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nephew, Damion (Angela) Kreger, niece, Colette (Ryan) Steele, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. She will also be missed by many cousins and their children. Chris was a wonderful accordion player, entertaining at family gatherings, parties at the Polish National Alliance, Group 2416, and Battle Creek’s Ethnic Festival. She also enjoyed bingo and cards. She was a member of P.N.A. Group 2416. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 7:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church.
