David A. Foster left this life for the next on January 3, 2024, in his hometown of Battle Creek. Born on May 8, 1945, David was the son of Ashley and Manch Foster. 

 

David was a 1963 graduate of Lakeview High School. He then went on to pursue higher education and earned a few years of college experience. David's career led him to become an operations director for a Budweiser distributor in Coldwater, MI. 

 

Beyond his career achievements, David had a wide range of interests. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed boating and spending time on the lake. David was a staple of his neighborhood on Coldwater Lake, where he lived for more than 30 years. He was an avid gardener, and loved being outdoors. David was known for his ability to shop, and always find the best deal. He enjoyed a good burger from the grill and a cold beer. Fast cars and collector cars were also passions of his. David could often be found wearing his neon pink hat. Above all else, David loved his family endlessly and valued quality time spent with them, especially his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

 

On August 10th, 1979, David married the love of his life, Sue (Willis) Foster. Together, they built a beautiful life.

 

David is survived by his wife Sue (Willis) Foster, Grandchildren; Cody Page of Palm Springs, California, and Samantha (Josh) Brandon of Battle Creek, Great Grandchildren; Archer Brandon, and Stella Brandon, sister Marsha Helsley of Redding California, Sister-In-Law Jeri Otis of Battle Creek, along with several nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents Ashley and Manch Foster, and Stepson Steven Page.

 

A private burial will take place in the spring.
