David Lalonde

Died Friday, October 28, 2022. David was born on June 13, 1945, in Battle Creek, the son of Donald and Rita (Halfmann) LaLonde. He had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He married the former Barbara M. Conrad, who survives. They have been married for 45 years. David worked as a millwright at Clark Equipment and then at the Federal Center until his retirement. Surviving is a sister, Karen Relay of Marshall; stepchildren, Randy, Scott and Teresa; grandchildren, George, Dawson and Jason; a great grandchild, Wesley.  In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and a private service with inurnment at Fort Custer National Cemetery will take place.
