Debra Faye Cramer, 66, passed away on March 6, 2026. She was born on April 9, 1959.
Debra married Jerry Allen Norris on August 20, 1976. They had three children who would remain the focus of her life.
Debra was a loving and caring mother whose family meant everything to her. Her children were the center of her world, and she devoted her life to loving, providing for, and supporting them in every way she could.
She was a strong and protective mother when she needed to be. Throughout her life, Debra faced many emotional and physical challenges, yet she never placed those burdens on her children. Instead, she chose to give them love, support, and stability, always putting their needs before her own.
Debra enjoyed the simple comforts of home, especially starting her mornings with a cup of coffee while watching her favorite morning shows. She also loved watching her soap operas—what she fondly called her “stories”—and never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune. She was also a huge fan of the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and Michigan Wolverines, always cheering on her favorite teams.
She deeply loved her family, her pets, and cherished the time she spent with them. To Debra, family was always the most important thing, and she made sure the people and animals she loved knew how much they meant to her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Batterson; her mother, Patricia Batterson; and her sister, Linda Tyjewski.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Heather) Norris, Amanda (Trent) Kelly, and Jason Norris; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Earl (Sharon) Batterson, Jerry (Chris) Batterson, Kathy Jacoby, and Melinda (Dennis) Dennison.
Debra will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, and the unwavering love she gave to her children and family. Those who loved her find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, enjoying a warm cup of coffee with her parents once again.
In the end, just remember what she would always say: “You know!”
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorial contributions in Debra’s memory may be made to the Charitable Union. Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
