Donna J. Darling

Donna "DJ" Jean Darling, 90 of Battle Creek, MI went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2023.  She was born and raised in Battle Creek, MI and attended Lakeview high School graduating in 1951.

Donna worked and retired from the Battle Creek Enquirer and News.  In her early years, she enjoyed outdoor activities such as golfing, motorcycling, camping, fishing and boating.  As she got older, she found relaxation in rubber stamping.

Donna was preceded in death by her life partner Ann Edgel, her parents Donald and Evelyn Darling, sister Doris Lingg, and her nephew Richard Spells.  She is survived by her nieces Pamela, Kristi and Michelle, her nephews Steve and Martin, as well as many great nieces and nephews and adopted nieces and nephews.

According to Donna's wishes, she has been cremated and there will be a private family service to be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on May 27, 2023 with interment to follow.
