Edna May Myers, 83, passed away on February 22, 2026, in Grand Rapids, MI. Edna was born in Battle Creek, MI on October 12, 1942. She was the daughter of George and Hester (Simmons) Thompson.

Edna worked at Federal Home Life, TransAmerica, Kellogg Company and retired from Kellogg Community College in 2006. Edna loved spending time with her family and friends. Throughout her life, she enjoyed travelling, playing cards, dominos, dancing and listening to music. She loved watching Tom Selleck and listening to Alan Jackson! Edna was in several local area car clubs along with her husband. They loved showing their award winning 1962 Chevrolet Impala convertible. She genuinely cared about people and looked forward to learning their stories. Edna was especially proud of her children and grandchildren.

Edna is survived by her children Christy (Dave) Jensen of Omaha, NE, Tim (Denise) Myers of Grand Rapids, MI and Debbie (David) Warfield of Fort Mill, SC and four grandchildren Cameron Myers of Chicago, IL, Jake Myers of Grand Rapids, MI, Delaney Myers of Grand Rapids, MI and Evan Jensen of Omaha, NE. Also surviving is her special sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Bob Brown of Battle Creek, MI as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers George F Thompson and Robert Thompson, and her husband of 52 years John Myers (2015).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support neurodegenerative research at Van Andel Institute (vai.org).

A private burial will take place with a celebration of life held for family and friends.
