Elizabeth A. Moll, 88 of Battle Creek, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital of Battle Creek. She was born May 20, 1923 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Thomas E. and Jennie (Ireland) Dula. Elizabeth was a 1941 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and completed her nurses training earning an L.P.N. Degree. She had worked in pediatrics at Community Hospital and also at the Battle Creek Sanitarium for eighteen years. Following her retirement she moved to Bradenton, Florida and was a member of the Bradenton Nazarene Church. Elizabeth was a member of First Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday school and played in the church orchestra. She also served as the receptionist and sang in the choir at the Battle Creek Salvation Army. Elizabeth enjoyed reading and being with her family. On February 17, 1942 she was married to Marston L. Moll in Charlotte, Michigan and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son: Robert L. Moll and sister: Marilyn Kirtley. Surviving is her daughter: Sally (Richard) Huffman; two grandsons: Travis (Bethany) Huffman and Nate (Michelle) Huffman; two great-grandchildren: Layla and Christian Huffman all of Battle Creek; and one brother: Tom (Janet) Dula, Jr. of Easley, South Carolina. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Robert L. Zuhl officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to First Wesleyan Church Building Fund.
