Florence Ernsberger, Age 87, of Marshall, Michigan peacefully passed away on August 1, 2024. Florence was born February 20, 1937, to Richard and Anna (Reed) Gale in Battle Creek. She was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) whose helped many patients for 25 years. Florence's journey in the healthcare industry was marked by her service at a nursing home that underwent multiple name changes - from Beverlies to Tender Care and finally to Medi Lodge. Beyond her professional life, Florence found joy in dancing, knitting, crocheting, and ceramics. Her passion for creativity shone through these hobbies, bringing warmth and beauty to those around her. She was a proud member of the Women of the Moose Lodge based out of Marshall, Michigan for about 30 years. Florence Ernsberger will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by Children; Kay Latta of Battle Creek, Clarence (Kim) Heckathorn of Mesa, Arizona, Scott Heckathorn of Marshall, Michigan, Martin McComb of Grand Rapids, Michigan Stepchildren; Terry Clemens of Battle Creek, Michigan, Bruce (Denise) McComb of Nashville, Michigan, Marc (Carol) McComb of Marietta, Georga, Cindy (Tim) Noble of Battle Creek, Julie McComb of Conroe, Texas, 17 Grandchildren 34 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Richard and Anna (Reed) Gale, Husbands; Everett Heckathorn, Hubert McComb, Ray Ernsberger, Siblings; Arthur Gale, Richard Gale, Tom Gale, Bobbie Gale, Edward Gale, Dorothy Tuttle, Lanita Henderson, Arlene Gale, Children; Linda Heckathorn, Ron McComb. The legacy of Florence Ernsberger will continue to live on through the memories shared by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
