Gerald G. Willey

Gerald (“Jerry”) Willey, age 91 of Battle Creek, MI passed away February 18, 2026. He was born May 8, 1934 to Ralph and Velda Willey. He was a man who worked hard, on his feet, including at Clark Equipment Co and for the great folks at Richland Machine & Pump. He will be remembered for his ability take things apart and build them back better, including bicycles, go carts, snowmobiles and automobiles. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, boat racing, Michigan outdoors, car building and shows with his brother, Bill. Jerry and his wife Norma built and beautifully landscaped property, grew gardens, enjoyed camping, golf, woodworking and traveling. Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean (fka Myers), his parents, brother Ron Willey, and sister Jack Lancaster (Bob). He is survived by his brother Bill Willey (Janet), children Steve Willey of Battle Creek, Theresa Orr (Tom) of Tucson, AZ, and Bryan Willey of Battle Creek, as well as 4 grandchildren.
