Harry Rasmussen, Jr.

Harry M. Rasmussen, Jr, 80, of Battle Creek passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. He was born on March 7, 1931 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Harry and Margaret P. (Miller) Rasmussen. Harry graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1949 and attended Kellogg Community College. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was employed by the Kellogg Company for 31 years as a Millwright. Harry is survived by his sons: Kevin L. Rasmussen, of Rock Springs, WY and Robert L. Rasmussen, of FL. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
