Jack Goodson, Sr.

Jack Wesley Goodson, Sr., 73 of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 23, 2011. He was born July 14, 1938 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the son of John Wesley and Ruby Loretta (Davis) Goodson. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force and had worked at Eaton’s and Kellogg’s. He enjoyed hunting, golfing and fishing. Surviving is his wife: Candy Goodson; daughters: Cindy (Denny) Conlogue, Katie Goodson, Connie (Don Hoffman) Case and Angie (Mike Geairn) Lucas; sons: Jack (Sandy) Goodson II and Kevin (Lydia) Goodson; twenty-three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers and five sisters. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend, please meet in the cortege assembly area prior to the service.
