Jack Leroy Green

Jack Leroy Green, age 85, of Springfield passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026. He was born in Battle Creek on May 26, 1941, the son of Arthur L. and Ruth Grace Green. Jack graduated from Hastings High School and retired from A-1 Auto Glass after many years of service. He was formerly a member of the First Church of Wellston and enjoyed auto racing and woodworking.

Jack married the former Joan Lyttle at the Cedar Creek Bible Church on June 18, 1960; she sadly preceded him in death on November 8, 2023. He is survived by his three sons, Leroy “Scott” (Lisa) Green, Randall “Randy” Green and Jack Green Jr., all of Battle Creek; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Jack was also preceded in death by his son, Gregory Allen Green and a brother, Arthur L. Green Jr.

At Jack's request, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Jack's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Fund. Arrangements by Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Battle Creek.
