James E. Eisenlord, age 86 of Battle Creek, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. He was born September 14, 1928 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Rosco and Margaret (Whitmore) Eisenlord. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1946 to 1951 and retired from Michigan Carton Company in 1985. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. On August 6, 1950 he was married to Adella M. Eisenlord who survives. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 in the Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors presented by the United States Marine Corps. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence.
