Janie L. Keelan-Grant

In the early morning of February 19, 2026, Janie went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at home surrounded by her family.

Janie was born on December 25, 1959, to John L. Keelan and Carolyn Schutt-Walters. She was a cheerleader, a member of the Homecoming Top Ten Court, and a proud graduate of Harper Creek High School.

Janie enjoyed camping, fishing, attending church, and visiting with just about anyone who would listen—especially her children and grandchildren. She loved sunny weather, whether at the beach, on a boat, or spending time visiting family. Her warmth, kindness, and love for others will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janie is survived by her husband, Todd Grant of Battle Creek, Michigan; her son, Ryan (Sara) Ray of Burlington, Michigan; her daughters, Carlie (Josh) Williams of Avon, Indiana, and Ashley (John) Coleman of Grant, Michigan; and her four grandchildren, Trenton Ray, Tate Ray, Harper Williams, and Hunter Shockley. She is also survived by her three sisters, Teri Keelan, Diane Keelan, and Sheri Walters; and her brother, Todd (Tamara) Walters.

A celebration of Janie’s life will be held later this spring. The date will be announced
