Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2023, surrounded by family. Jane was born on November 14, 1925, on the family farm in Assyria Township, the daughter of William and Katherine (Sylvester) Schroder. Jane has been an area resident since the age of 18 and was a graduate of Bellevue High School. In 1944, she was united in marriage to James B. Millard, who preceded her in death in 2012 after 68 years of marriage. She also was proceeded in death by her son, James (Terry) Millard, her twin sister Jean Manning, and her two brothers. Jane and her twin sister, Jean worked at the Kellogg Company during WWII. She was an avid ice skater, roller skater, loved cooking, shopping and decorating, her afternoon soaps, and her poodles. She loved her family, friends, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a Bicentennial family of Assyria.  Surviving are her children, Rick Millard and Tamra (James) Harrison; grandchildren, Jason (Courtney) Millard, Dr. Maranda (Christopher) Gary, Brian (Melisa) Lake, Christopher (Ashley) Lake;  great-grandchildren, Andrew, Austin, Aaron, Alexis Wilks-Millard, Tyler and Mason Gary, Kaleb (Tiffany) Lake, Saphyre Lake, Brianna Lake, Christopher Lake II and Brooklyn Lake; great great-grandchildren, Raylynn Lake and another expectant baby girl; brother Bill Schroder; niece Christina Johnson; other nieces and nephews; lifelong best friends, Nellie and Bill Jones, and friend Gayle Hotchkiss. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 11:30 a.m., to 1:30 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services with a graveside service following at 2:00 p.m., at Reese Cemetery. Memorials may be given to ASK (All Species Kinship), P.O.
