Janice Lou Pollard

Janice L. Pollard, age 85, of Battle Creek, and formerly of Marshall, passed away on November 3, 2025, at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 21, 1939, in Marshall, the daughter of Earl and Bernice (Snyder) Kenworthy. Janice graduated from Marshall High School in 1958. On March 25, 1967, she married Earl Pollard, who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Eric Pollard of Battle Creek and Kevin (Nicolette) Pollard of Hinsdale, IL.; and her grandsons, Mitchell Bair-Pollard, Braden Pollard, and Nathan Pollard. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Earl and Marvin Kenworthy. Jan previously worked as a hair stylist at Leon’s and Ocine’s Beauty Salons, and following retirement she enjoyed doing residents’ hair at Emily Andrus Home. Janice was an active member of the Red Hat Society. Her hobbies included traveling, playing cards, going to the casino, mushroom hunting, blueberry and cherry picking. Jan was well-known for making her delicious apple pies. Janice was a warm and thoughtful wife, mother, grandmother, cousin and friend. She brought joy to all who had the pleasure to know her, and she will be missed dearly. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Riverside Golf Club & Banquet Center, 245 East Columbia Ave., Battle Creek, MI.
