Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Jean Ann Davis, 76, of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026. She is now in the loving presence of her Savior Jesus Christ.
Jean was born on September 23, 1949. She married the love of her life, James Davis in 1967, who survives and was by her side until she passed. She was a devoted mother to her 2 children, Kimberly and James. Additionally, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Ashei, Jamie, Tarah, Skyler, and John. She also enjoyed seeing her great grandchildren, Tristan, Sophie, Keegan, Bryson, Maddie, Emma, Jaxson, Asher and Avery.
Jean’s main focus in her life was her faith and her family. She was very passionate about passing her faith on to her family. She was a dedicated homemaker, devoted to raising her children. In addition, Jean cleaned homes and worked at the church day care for many years, allowing her to make her own spending money.
In her spare time, Jean loved going to estate sales. She collected old wooden Christmas decorations and loved to find rooster themed items. She was always looking for small gifts for her family. She often joked, that “it had to be on sale” for her to buy it. Jean enjoyed holidays, and especially treasured the holiday meals that her granddaughters, Jamie, Skyler, and daughter-in-law Angie made for her. She cherished each of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Despite her many health issues, Jean made many new friends during her last days at The Oaks senior care facility. She will be greatly missed.
At Jean's request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, would be appreciated. Arrangements by Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Personal messages for the family and favorite memories of Jean may be placed at www.henryfuneralhome.org.
