Jewell McMillan

A Beautiful angel has entered Heaven. Jewell McMillan, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. Jewell was born on September 11, 1942, to Hollis and Erma Looper who preceded her in death. She graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1960, the first graduating class from that school. She married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” McMillan, who preceded her in death in 2012. Jewell was a loving wife, mother and friend. She was an active member of Bethel Baptist, along with Bob for 28 years where they became good friends with Pastor Randy and his wife Sheryl Stewart. She loved feeding orioles, hummingbirds and cardinals. She loved watching the birds while sitting on her swing. Also preceded her in death by her son-in-law, Tony Radi; her brothers, Fred Looper, Ted looper. Bobby (Stephany) Looper and her sisters, Hazel Chadwick, Wanda (Terry) Heatherington, Joan (Billy) Pickett and Stella (Robert) Dull. She is survived by her 5 children, Donny (Cathy) Green, Danny (Tara) Green, David Green, Dennis (Judy) Green, and Denise (Green) Radi. Her stepchildren, Vicky McMillan, Gary (Penny) McMillan and Terry Sly; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Jewell touched the heart of anyone who knew her, she will be truly missed. At Jewell’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation services, with a memorial service starting at 1:00p.m. Immediately following the memorial service, a luncheon will be served at the Bedford Lions Club.
