Judith "Judy" Gresly

Judith Ann Gresly “Judy”, Age 67, Truck driver CB handle “Hey Jude”.  Judy went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday March 3, 2021, 10pm at Bronson Battle Creek hospital. She was born on April 3, 1953 at Community Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan to father Garrett Malcom Gresly and mother Lois Helen Evans. She went to Athens High School, graduating with the class of 1971. Her childhood journey with the family semi truck and trailer business at Gresly’s Truck & Trailer Repair, Inc., located in Battle Creek, Michigan, led her to a lifelong career as an over-the-road country wide truck driver. She LOVED this career and was very dedicated! She was involved & followed many trucking fb groups. She enjoyed driving with her son & sharing “trucker stories” with her family!  Another passion she had included time with her family and animals - horses & border collies!  Judy is survived by her younger sister Sandra Gresly-Cohen (Brother in law, Doug Cohen), nephew Mike Gresly, younger brother Robert Gresly (sister in law, Sharon Gresly), nieces Becca Burkart & Ashley Gresly-Lisi, nephews Daniel Gresly & Garrett Gresly, son Jonathan Scott Findley and daughter Jaime Lee Nemire (Findley), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at Victory Life Church, located at 6892 “D” Drive North, Battle Creek Michigan 49014, on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 2pm, with Pastor Gretchen O’Dell officiating. Judy’s wishes were to be cremated, added with her lifelong animals and put into die cast semi trucks for her immediate family, so they can have her with them always. Memorial donations can be made to Victory Life Church, 6892 “D” Drive North, Battle Creek Michigan 49014.  The family wishes to extend their love, gratitude & appreciation for all the support & prayers. www.henryfuneralhome.org
