Kimberly Kay Beller

With heavy but full hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Kimberly Kay Beller. Surrounded by family, she took her last breaths on September 19, 2025, after more than a four-year battle with cancer, during which she defied the odds and thrived. She was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to her family and friends.

Kimmie was born on April 13, 1969. She was generous with her kindness and compassion. Always quick to laugh, she was the first to sign up for fun and mischief. She loved reading, snuggling with her beloved cat Smudge, and playing games. She greatly valued quality time with her family and good friends, and she developed a love of travel and adventure that took her to such faraway places as Florida and the Caribbean.

Her brilliant blue eyes, devilish smile and playful spirit were a welcome addition to any holiday, birthday party, or game night. Her seat at the table can never be filled.

She worked at Comcast for 25 years, where she developed a friendly rapport with coworkers and customers alike, and she was passionate about giving back to the Battle Creek community, as well as charities that included St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and Companion Cats. Her generous spirit was exemplified by her desire to donate her organs, and it would be immeasurably meaningful to her to know her corneas have given the gift of vision to two beneficiaries.

Kim is survived by her mother, Paula Beller, her sisters Raquel Beller and Danielle Beller, her niece CieAira, her nephews Matthew and Corey, and her brothers-in-law, Brandon and Richard, along with many other extended family members and friends who loved her. In particular, her family wishes to extend their love and condolences to Kay and Arlen Shaw, whose gifts of time, energy, and friendship were profoundly meaningful to Kim in her final years.
