Laura Lee (Wilder) Cash

Laura Lee Cash, age 66, of Battle Creek, passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 26, 2026. She was born in Battle Creek on September 9, 1960, the daughter of Richard E. and Linda L. (Hardy) Wilder, and graduated from Harper Creek High School. Laura enjoyed playing Bingo & cards, going to the casinos with her best friend & husband, Jim, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Laura married the “Love of Her Life”, James Allen “Jim” Cash in Battle Creek on June 23, 1988; he sadly preceded her in death on October 22, 2023. Together they raised three children, Nick (Sasha) Diehl, Brandy Messenger, and Jamie Lee (Scott) Collins. Laura cherished every moment spent with her children & grandchildren and took immense pride in their accomplishments.

Laura was also preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Gavin Brooks. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Joanna Tullis and Teresa Kellogg; her brother, Jimmy (Amanda) Wilder; and several nieces & nephews.
