LeElla “Lee” Moore, Age 76, Of Battle Creek, Died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at her home. LeElla was born on February 5, 1935, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of DeNise and Alice Marie (Allen) Hoskin. She lived in Kalamazoo county for many years before moving to Ludington in 1980. Lee then moved to Battle Creek in 1994. On March 23, 1983, she was united in marriage to John D. Moore who survives. She was employed at Airway Lanes and the Upjohn Company and then owned the Ludington Town House Restaurant. She enjoyed gardening and family and friends. Surviving are daughters, Cindy (Phil) Brown, Cathy Slachta, Cheryl DeCaire and Carol (Dave)Tucker; step-children, Terri (Donnie) Pettyjohn and Randy Moore; grandchildren, Jason,JoElla, David,Lucas, Brandon and Carrie; many step-grandchildren; great grandchildren, Baleigh, Christian and Noah; a sister, JoAnn Cheyne; a brother, Neal Hoskin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Neta Ramsdell and a stepson, Eric Moore. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4:00p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with The Rev. Dr. Robert L. Zuhl officiating.
