In Loving Memory of Linda Mae McCracken

Linda Mae McCracken, age 68, passed away on March 26, 2026, at Rose Arbor Hospice, Kalamazoo, Michigan after a lengthy battle with cancer. Linda was born on July 7, 1957, to Harold and Joan McCracken in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek and attended Battle Creek Public Schools. Linda enjoyed going thrift store shopping, garage sales, and spending time with family, and loved her little dog, Bella. She was able to make it to many occasions during her illness, birthdays, holidays, and making many fun memories together with family, that we will always treasure. Linda was especially fond of her young nephews Davion, Shaden, and Douglas, who were always there for her with words of encouragement, love and lots of laughter keeping her spirits up and having fun spending family time together. She will be dearly missed. Linda is survived by her mother, Joan McCracken, sons Stephen and Chad Gibson, grandson Latrell Gibson, granddaughter Nevaeh Gibson, great grandson Silas Gibson, and sister Sarah Bowerman. She was preceded in death by her father Harold McCracken and sister Cathy McCracken. There will be a private celebration of her life at a later date.
