Marcia G. Palmiter, Age 85, Of Battle Creek, Died Wednesday, January 7, 2015, in Battle Creek. Marcia was born on January 23, 1929, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Clare and Gayle (Weist) Mead. Surviving are sons, Alan Palmiter of Battle Creek and Carl (Pamela) Palmiter of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Lindy (Kevin)Drudge of Huntersville, NC and Alex Palmiter of Atlanta; two great grandchildren, Drake and Olivia Drudge; step-grandchildren, Cameron Bennett, Nicholas Bennett and Aleaha Parrish-Estep; brothers, Clark (Nancy) Mead of Edwardsburg and Paul (Marilyn) Mead of Marshall. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2015, at The Potter’s House Church, 226 Capital Ave., N.E., Battle Creek. www.henryfuneralhome.org
