Mary Hill

Mary V. Hill, age 91, of Battle Creek, passed away on July 19, 2022 at Glenn Arbor Place.  She was born on January 28, 1931 in High Point, North Carolina, the daughter of Daniel J. and Mae M. (Petrie) Yother.  Mary worked at Apple Valley Natural Foods since their opening,  and continued to work there until her retirement in 2006.  She was a charter member of Marshall Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Mary loved reading, word searches and puzzles.  She was united in marriage to William G. Hill in 1947, he preceded her in death in 1990.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, sisters; Lela Bacho and Myrtle Cantrell and a brother; Daniel Yother.  Surviving are her sisters; Annette Mae Barrett and Ruth Burdick both of Battle Creek, and many loving nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Funeral Service to follow at  3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pastors Ray Torres and Bruce Moore officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Quiet Hour or Marshall Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
