Patricia Mae Klusendorf

Patricia Mae (Secord) Klusendorf, 88 1/2 of Morgan Hill, California passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 after a year of declining health.  She was a loving and devoted stay at home mother raising three children.  She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on September 5th, 1934, with her twin sister Barbara following shortly thereafter. She graduated from Saint Philips High School in 1952. During high school she worked at Kresges Drugstore. Following graduation, she was employed by the Kellogg Company.  She married John Klusendorf Sr. on October 10th, 1959, in Battle Creek, Michigan.  They had four children, three sons - John Jr., twins Kelvin and Kevin (who passed away in 1962) and a daughter Theresa.  Pat led a very full life traveling throughout Europe and Hong Kong and enjoyed taking cruises with husband John Sr.
After raising her children she went back to work for temporary agencies, before taking a full time position at State Farm, which she eventually retired from. Afterwards she kept busy by volunteering for multiple organizations, including Rebuilding Together, RotaCare and Christmas in July.  While with Red Cross she provided onsite support responding to a number of disasters, including 9/11. Patricia was preceded in death by her son Kevin, her parents William and Catherine Secord, her twin sister Barbara and brother-in-law Robert Peters, her sister Corinne and brother-in-law John Norburg and her ex-husband John Sr.  She leaves behind her three children, a granddaughter Chloe, and many nieces and nephews. She was the last of her generation and as some would say, “The Greatest Generation.” Funeral service scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2023 at the Richard A.
