Patty Wise

Patty Stannard Wise died peacefully at Glen Arbor Hospice on August 28, 2022 with her family by her side after an unexpected illness. Patty was preceded in death by her father Joseph, sister Laura and daughter Kimberly. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Michael, children Richard (Josephine) Stannard, Marijke Rathke (John), Tyler (Stephanie) Wise and Jace Wise and several grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother Rosa and sister Roxzy both of Arizona.
Patty will always be remembered for the love she had not only for her family but also for her “fur” babies from her dogs to her chickens. She loved nature and bird watching and one of her favorite things to do was taking drives with her husband through the country to watch the wild life. When her children were younger, she would pack a picnic lunch and would pack everyone in the car for a drive to South Haven. It didn’t matter what the weather was like she just loved watching the waves or the ice that had formed in the winter.
Patty retired from Bronson Methodist Hospital in 2022.
Cremation has taken place and a family memorial will be held at a later date. Patty will be deeply missed by those that loved her and knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to any animal shelter of one's choice.
