Ralph Chapman

Died Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. Ralph was born on April 27, 1948, the son of James A. and Margaret E. (West) Chapman. He had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Harper Creek High School. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army serving two tours in Vietnam. Ralph was employed with the Federal Government in Tank Maintenance. He also was a truck driver for six years. He enjoyed going to the VA to be with his Vietnam Veteran's. Surviving are daughters, Monica Nickles, Lynda Champion, Nicole Chapman and Krystal Chapman; a brother, George (Linda) Chapman; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents;  brothers, John,David, Mike, an infant brother Donnie and a sister, Donna Chapman. Interment with full military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, November 25, 2019 at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project. www.henryfuneralhome.org
