Died on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. Ricky was born on December 2, 1955, in Battle Creek, the son of Carlo and Edda (Furlanis) Zanetti. He had been a lifelong resident of the area attending St. Joseph School and then graduating from Lakeview High School in 1974. He also attended Kellogg Community College.
Ricky worked for the Kellogg Company for 13 years before partnering with his brother Marco owning Z-BoyZ Amusements for over 30 years. Ricky and Marco had a very special bond. They were partners in business and were best friends throughout their life.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Ricky was loved by many. He never met a stranger and always had a kind word to say about everyone. He was the life of the party. He always had jokes and was a quite the magician. He would mesmerize children as well as adults, with his magic tricks.
Ricky was very athletic and excelled in every sport he played. He was an avid cyclist completing many 100-mile rides. He was a phenomenal pickleball player and was a member of Cereal City Pickleball Club as well as their treasurer. Ricky also loved golfing and spending much of his free time on the golf course. He was a very skilled soccer player in his younger years.
Surviving is his brother, Marco (Debi) Zanetti; niece Monica Zanetti and a nephew, Antonio Zanetti; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Maria Theresa Zanetti.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services with a Rosary following at 7:p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the National Cancer Institute or St. Joseph Catholic Church. www.henryfuneralhome.org
