Robert A. Aurand

Robert A. Aurand, age 71, of Battle Creek, peacefully went to be with the Lord and Savior on September 2, 2025. He was born in Battle Creek on October 28, 1953, the son of Cecil E. and Lila (Thorpe) Aurand. He graduated from Lakeview High School. Robert was employed in food service at Leila Hospital, which is now known as Bronson Battle Creek. He was reassured of his salvation in May of 2025 by Pam Sandburg of the ladies’ trio, The Final Heart. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Evelyn Scudder. He is survived by his sister, Barbra Gram of Sebring, FL., brothers; Don Aurand of Battle Creek and Cecil E. Aurand of East Leroy, MI. Funeral service scheduled at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Pastor John Beardslee of Fredonia Holiness Church. Interment will take place at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
