Robert "Bob" D. Durham, age 92, of Battle Creek, MI (and most recently of Charlotte), went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 5, 2026.
He was born on September 19, 1934, in Milwaukee, WI to Charles and Margaret (Reick) Durham. Bob then grew up in Battle Creek, graduating from Battle Creek Central High School in 1953. Upon graduation, he began his electrical apprenticeship joining the IBEW. He was called into military service and honorably served his country in the US Army Missile Corp in Germany from 1959 to 1961. Returning to the United States, he worked for several different electrical contractors before hiring into the Kellogg Company where he was a hard-working and highly regarded electrician for 21 years before retiring in 1999.
After becoming a Christian, Bob attended both the Family Altar Chapel and Battle Creek Bible Church for many years. He was a great supporter of many Christian missions and even participated in a mission trip to Russia passing out Bibles alongside his wife Olivia.
In 1957, Bob married his first wife, Lila (Spears) Durham. Together, they raised their sons, David and Mark, but the union ended in divorce. In 1981, Bob married his wife Olivia (Rathburn) Durham to whom he was married for 44 years before she preceded him in death earlier this year.
Bob is survived by his children, David and Taren Durham (Tracy, Drew, Ryan) and Mark and Rebecca Durham (Kendra, Jared); his step-children Jeff Burdick (JR, Jennifer), Linda and Stan Maurer (Ericka, Dan, Tonya), and Marty and Donna Burdick (Matthew, Clinton, Sarah, Hannah); numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife Lila. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Olivia; and his siblings Charles, Alice, Helen, Samuel and Alan.

Henry Funeral Home in Battle Creek, located at 703 Capital Ave. SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015 with his stepson Pastor Marty Burdick officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
