Robert "Bob" Jay Heath passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 28, 2023 at Woodlawn Meadows in Hastings.  He was born on February 14, 1951 in Battle Creek to Emerson J and Donna J (Welsh) Heath.  He resided in Battle Creek in recent years, but lived in Delton most of his life.  He graduated from Delton Kellogg High School in 1969.  It is in high school where he met his beloved wife of 52 and 1/2 years, Sandra (Broach), they we married on December 27th, 1970.  That's when the "Bob & Sandy Show" officially began,  He never would have left her by choice, but love lives on in our hearts and memories.   They have two daughters, Kristin (Craig) Jones of Delton, and Elizabeth (Michael) Chambers of Middleville.  There are 5 grandchildren, Kaylee Chambers, Katelynn Jones, Sydney Chambers, Josie Jones, and Myles Chambers who will always remember his love, compassion, and dependability.  Lessons both received and given from Grandpa.   Bob is also survived by a brother the Rev Michael (Altetta) Heath of Warren Indiana and mother-in-law Lucile Broach.

Bob earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration.  As a veteran he served the United States Air Force and did tours during the Kosovo Conflict in 1999.  Afghanistan Operation Enduring Freedom from 2002 to 2003, and Iraq Operation Iraqi Freedom where he earned a Bronze Star.

Bob also spent time working at the local Felpausch Grocery in Delton during high school, the U.S. Post Office, the Michigan Air National Guard, and the Battle Creek Federal Center as a logistics officer.   He was a member of the NRA, Air Force Association, and the Air National Guard Association.  His most memorable and important job was being the best Dad two very lucky girls could have.

A service to celebrate the lives of both Robert and Sandra will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home in Battle Creek with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
