Died Thursday, July 2, 2020, in Battle Creek. Robert was born on August 2, 1929, in Battle Creek, the son of George C. and Emma Jean (Collyer) Logan. He had been a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Philip Catholic Schools. He married the former Shirley Ann McKeague on July 26, 1946. She preceded him in death in 2004. Robert was a truck driver for Robinson Cartage in Grand Rapids, MI, retiring in 1991. He was a former member of St. Philip Catholic Church and a Teamsters Union Member. He enjoyed racing motorcycles in his younger years, 3 years at Daytona and flat track racing. He also raced Go-karts, dirt cars and was an avid NASCAR fan.  Surviving are his sons, Robert Steven (Jan) Logan of Battle Creek and Jimmy Ray (Tammy) Logan of Jacksonville, FL; 9 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Kathy Allman, Lynn Smith and Sue Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Barbara Jean Logan. Private services were held at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. www.henryfuneralhome.org
