Robert Melekian

Robert J Melekian (Bob) 82, of Battle Creek, MI was born July 9, 1937 and passed peacefully at his home on Weds. Nov. 6, 2019. With his loving wife of 61 years by his side, Carolyn (Callie) And Bob have 8 wonderful children: Mari (Don) Phillips of FL, Mike (Susan) Melekian of KS, Terri (Rick) DeRuiter of Battle Creek, Amy (Jesse) Yother of Battle Creek, Joan Melekian of FL, John (Cheryl) Melekian of Battle Creek, William Melekian of CT, Mark (Kasey) Melekian of Battle Creek. Bob is lovingly remembered by his 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The immediate family has celebrated his life as a Lakeview High School athlete, US Navy Veteran, Retiree from Ralston Purina, loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. The family graciously asks that in lieu of cards, flowers or donations, that his spirit be remembered through continued support of his beloved Detroit Lions and U of M Wolverines.
