Roberta "Bobbie" L. Wetherill-Zull

Roberta "Bobbie" L. Wetherill-Zull, a beloved member of the Battle Creek community, passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 66. Born on October 6, 1956, in Battle Creek, Michigan, she was the daughter of James and Janet (Gray) Wetherill.

Bobbie was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek and a highly esteemed entrepreneur. She dedicated her career to positively impacting the lives of children and families through her ownership and direction of two establishments: Kids Campus in Battle Creek and Quality Used Furniture in Urbandale. Bobbie's passion for working with children extended beyond her professional life. She cherished every moment spent nurturing young minds and creating a safe and loving environment for them to grow.

Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Bobbie worked at Security National Bank where she made lasting connections with colleagues and brightened their days with her warm personality.

Bobbie's education played an integral role in shaping her successful professional life. She graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1975 before earning her associate degree from Kellogg Community College. The knowledge and skills she acquired during her educational journey aided her in becoming a respected figure in the community.

A devout member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Bobbie found strength and solace within its walls. She embraced the teachings of her faith, cherishing the values it instilled in her.

In addition to her professional achievements and unwavering faith, Bobbie had a remarkable affinity for cats. Their company brought immense joy into her life, as did the time she spent caring for them.

Bobbie was united in marriage on July 11, 1998 to Keith Zull, he preceded her in death in 2013.  Bobbie will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by Tim (LaSondra) Wetherill, a cousin whom she shared a close bond with throughout her life, along with other surviving cousins who mourn the loss of their cherished relative.

Visitation services for Bobbie will be held on September 25, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Richard A Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 703 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI, 49015. Her funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 157 Chapel Hill Dr, Battle Creek, MI.
