Roger Dale McNees

Roger Dale McNees, age 77 of Plainwell, Michigan passed away September 14, 2026 at Medilodge of Marshall. He was born in Plainwell, Michigan on October 10, 1948, the son of Marion and Pauline (Miller) McNees. Roger faithfully served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from May 1968 to December 1969 and retired from RockTenn Paper Mill in Otsego. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing softball, bowling, and golfing.

Roger is survived by his sons, Kevin R. McNees of Colorado and Brandon M. McNees of Arizona; his daughter, Shaina M. McNees of Pennsylvania; and several other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2026 at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. A reception will immediately follow at the Augusta Custer VFW 7956 (13549 M-96, Augusta, MI 49012).
