Rosha Annabelle Lick, age 92 of Battle Creek, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024. She was born January 21, 1932, in Minelick Creek, Baxter, Tennessee the daughter of Thomas Peek and Cordia Ethel ( Whitehead) Burgess. She graduated from Manila High School in Manila, Arkansas and later moved to Battle Creek following graduation. Annabelle worked at Post Cereals for 31 years, retiring in 1987. She is survived by her best friend and significant other of 50 years Michael G. Dolphin who always referred to her as “Miss Belle”, a stepson: Rick Dolphin; two step-grandchildren: Hillary and Steven; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Annabelle and Mike loved to travel throughout Michigan, and they wintered in Florida and Myrtle Beach over the years. She enjoyed playing games and working out crossword puzzles but most of all she loved her church, Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Clark Lawson of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. www.henryfuneralhome.org
