In Loving Memory of Scott Patrick Madej

With broken hearts, we share the passing of Scott Patrick Madej — beloved father, brother, and friend — who left us far too soon on July 23, 2025, at the age of 50. Scott was born in Warren, Michigan, to Ronald and Vicki Madej on September 8, 1974. He attended Northshore High School in Slidell, Louisiana, and graduated in 1993. He enjoyed football (especially U of M), but his greatest joy was watching his children participate in their many activities throughout the years. Scott is remembered by his children, Brendan and Morgan Madej; his sisters, Shelley (Rick) Hart and Stacey (Scott) Gaskill; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Vicki (Bouldin) Madej, and his nephew, Matthew Hart. Scott will be remembered for his kindness and warm heart by many, including his classmates, coworkers, the kids he coached in sports, and those he interacted with while working at the school — but especially his family. If you ever needed someone to grill the perfect burger, challenge you in trivia, or share in the excitement of a football game, Scott was always there with a smile and a kind word. A memorial for Scott will be held on July 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Marshall, 305 Michigan Ave, Marshall, MI 49068. Richard A.
